Varsity Tutors is a live learning platform that connects students with personalized instruction to accelerate academic achievement. To date, students have accessed more than 2 million hours of live instruction. Additionally, through the company’s free online learning tools and mobile applications, Varsity Tutors has created a learning ecosystem of free test prep books and more than 200,000 free practice questions, answers and explanation sets across more than 200 subjects and tests. ORS Upward Bound Students have free access to this service, they can use this if they are unable to get help from a tutor during the after school program.
Khan Academy is a not-for-profit with the goal of changing education for the better by providing a free world-class education for anyone anywhere. All of the site's resources are available to anyone. It doesn't matter if you are a student, teacher, home-schooler, principal, adult returning to the classroom after 20 years, or a friendly alien just trying to get a leg up in earthly biology. Khan Academy's materials and resources are available to you completely free of charge.
